Overcome

“These things I have spoken to you,

so that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you have tribulation, but take courage;
I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

 Wow!  Peace is from Jesus, not from our circumstances!  If I could just live that daily, I would be ahead of the game! 

 

 The final promise that Jesus has overcome the world is looking ahead into heaven.  Live not for today or the circumstances of today, but rather for eternity!  In that is joy and peace.

 Hint of the day: When your circumstances are overwhelming, take time to praise God and thank Him.  He will bring your emotions into check and you will feel like rejoicing because He has overcome the world.  That's the true reality!
